Charging Samurai

A Charging Samurai on canvas. You can almost hear the war cry echo “Banzai!!!”
The Samurai of Ancient Japan rode into battle without fear of death and wore no shield. To die in battle was considered an honor for these warriors who followed the code of “The Way of the Warrior” or Bushido. The Samurai believed that the path of the warrior was one of honor, emphasizing duty to one’s master, and loyalty unto death. A quote by a Samurai reads thus
“If a man does not investigate into the matter of Bushido daily, it will be difficult for him to die a brave and manly death. Thus it is essential to engrave this business of the warrior into one’s mind well.”
